After returning home to Massachusetts last Tuesday, inspired by all the amazing vehicles they saw down in Florida, Matt and Bill were eager to get back into the Do It Again Garage. While they hadn’t purchased any cars at the auction, they had a plan in mind. This past weekend, they spent quite a few hours focused on Matt’s 1969 Firebird. Our two favorite grease monkeys got down to business rebuilding the classic beauty’s front end.
New hood, hinges, bumper, head lights & brackets were added.
Patience was a real necessity, as this wasn’t the first time the guys had had to rebuild the Firebird’s front end. Last time they tried, they found that the new additions didn’t fit properly causing them to have to start over from scratch. We hope that’s not the case this time!
Matt expects to have the restoration completed soon so that he can put the Firebird up for sale.
